Letterman Makes Paris Hilton "Sad"

Ex-con/socialite Paris Hilton appeared on "Late Show With David Letterman" last night -- and is sorry she did! The sardonic TV host harassed Hilton about her summer stay in the pokey -- and she wasn't having any of it.

At one point during the interview, an audience member screamed, "I love you Paris!" Letterman quipped, "Is that somebody you met in prison?" Ha! As the crowd erupted in laughter, Paris paused and said, "I didn't come here to talk about this. That was a long time ago. Now you're making me sad that I came."

Letterman then apologized and had Paris purring again.

I have three teenage or preteen girls, and not one of them would dare pull that pouting B.S. Even the youngest at 11 yrs old, exhibits more maturity than Paris ever manages.

Pouting is cute on a preschooler, and that's pretty much where it ends.

People are making fun of paris and her recent interview with Letterman and that is not fair. paris is a little simple minded. paris does not have the brain power to do an interview that is live and not taped where her agent can edit the interview. paris is a nice enough young person but not the brightest bulb in the package!!!!!!

339. HA, just watched the D. Letterman interview!! It is so obvious he has no use for paris. The audience loved seeing her being taken down a peg or two, it has been a long time coming. Dave did push the jail thing a little too long but she has become such a laughingstock that the audience could not contain themselves that someone had finally treated this narcissistic witch with all the respect she deserves. The audience ate it up. She did not handle it well. If she had shown one speck of remorse for what she had done instead of just trying to pitch herself, taking Dave's bait at being a role model instead of going the victim route yet again she MIGHT have started the long long path to getting a smidgen of the respect that the public has long ago lost for her. She truly is a stupid, vapid, self absorbed woman. She thinks she won Dave over when he only let the fish back off the hook and threw it back.

341. The only reason I watched Letterman was to see Paris. She showed so much class and Letterman as usual (haven't watched him in a long, long time) was a jerk! I only wish Paris had politely stood up, waved goodbye to the audience and left the Letterman idiot on the stage looking stupid (as usual)!

342. mzdazy - what interview were you watching? She showed nothing but her ignorance and lack of social skills, she was so out of her league here it was hilarious!! She was too stupid to even try and bring the interview around, just said I don't want to talk about it and waited for David to slay her some more. Any half assed smart person would have said something along the lines of Dave, I don't want to talk about it anymore but would love to tell you about my new skank juice, it is called blah blah blah

344. Letterman embarrassed? If he was embarrassed to interview Paris then he should not have invited her to be a part of his program. And I do recall Paris telling Letterman she didn't want to talk about her jail time but would like to talk about her clothing line.
